D.C. Comics has done it again, they have produced another phenomenal movie that people are going crazy over.

If you don’t believe me, ask the $545 million Warner Bros. Entertainment, Inc. has raked in from the release of “Justice League”. In the first night of its premiere, November 17, the movie sold $96 million worth of tickets!

Regardless of what the statistics say, “Justice League” is a great movie, and it excels in many categories and that is why I am rating it five out of five stars.

Joss Whedon and Chris Terrio wrote the fantastic screenplay for the movie and a big part of what makes this movie so great is the characters themselves. They made those characters come to life, and it shows because of how dynamic and thought out the roles were.

For example, in the beginning of the movie the world is still mourning the loss of Superman, and the screenplay was extraordinary for this. Whedon and Terrio made it feel like it was a documentary and these were real people mourning the loss of a beloved friend, and not a two dimensional character.

As good as the characters were, the story they told was even better. Ben Affleck, who plays Batman in “Justice League” and “Batman V. Superman”, portrays a traditional version of his character who assuredly believes in vigilante justice.  He goes above and beyond to create the league itself with the help of  Wonder Woman played by, Gal Gadot, who is also seen in “Batman V. Superman” and “Wonder Woman”.

The rest of the league, including: Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, and Henry Cavill as Superman slowly comes together just in time to take on the great villain Steppenwolf played by Ciarán Hinds, also known for his roles in “The Woman In Black” and “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2”.

Overall, the film is another outstanding creation to add onto the D.C. universe because of the characters we have come to know and love, as well as, the story they tell. Not to mention you will leave the theaters feeling ready to take on the world like the badass superhero you are.
